quick college football thoughts from Saturday

Quick non Bama thoughts on Saturday’s college football.

Oregon St, Kansas St have a seat. =========> \_

No team’s OL play is where it needs to be yet. Saw a lot of DL’s play extremely well and take advantage of this yet.

LSU is on schedule, if they come together by the end of September…oi they’ll be scary.

UGA will be fine, but they need to improved play on the DL against the run.

Clemson’s good. Not top 5 good, but they will probably up there soon.

Good job Washington. Honestly thought they’d lose.

TCU and Virginia Tech’s defenses will be pretty special this year. Kyle Fuller and TCU’s #1 DB are frickin’ solid.

Bama thoughts:

My first reaction, Bama OL didn’t look good at all. After watching the rest of college football..neither did anyone else’s.

On defense, we finally have some fearsome pass rushers….

Special teams will be special this year. Saw a LOT of enthusiasm from the guys playing Special Teams that I haven’t seen since Saban has been here.

Secondary play was extraordinary. Deion Belue and John Fulton may not be first rounders in some people’s eyes, but I think they’ll have a shot to make themselves some money this year. Vinnie Sunseri showed why he’s been able to hold off Landon Collins at Safety.

Lookin’ forward to the next two games Louisville Sunday I believe, and FSU Monday night.
